To ensure your workplace catering always meets the highest possible standards, our contract catering staff and managers undergo regular training, development and assessment.
Leeming Pilkington works closely with Qube Learning, which is accredited to deliver certified courses by relevant awarding bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), the BII, the professional body for the licensed retail industry and the National Skills Academy.
Together with the training and development experts at Qube Learning, we put together effective, personalised training programmes aimed at achieving high standards of individual work performance, whilst also making workplaces more efficient by multi-skilling all staff.
Our aim is that, as a minimum, all employees successfully achieve the equivalent of NVQ Level 2 in their particular craft-based role. And the training they receive enables our staff and managers to gain qualifications that further professionalise their roles across all areas of our business, making them better performing in yours.
Training is delivered flexibly in the workplace, so employees generally do not need to be released from their work, except occasionally to take exams. Qube Learning assessors come in to the workplace to gauge the quality of the work being performed in situ by each member of of the Leeming Pilkington team.
